Inspired Selection was established in October 1999 as Oxford’s first and only dedicated publishing recruitment consultancy. Bringing in experienced practitioners from the publishing industry, by October 2001 the company had opened a new office in Central London.

With a growing reputation for knowledge, service and understanding, the company evolved across the many disciplines within publishing. The client portfolio subsequently expanded to include many of the industry’s leading companies and organisations.

In late 2007 the company was acquired by 1700 Group Plc. This brought Inspired Selection greater resources and scale and incorporated a significant investment in our Search operation to effectively dovetail with the Selection services already available.

Inspired Selection now has a number of sister companies operating in complementary areas of Media Recruitment, Personal Development and an International Affiliate Network.

The company is generally regarded as the leader in its field, and today features prominently within the industry’s resource management marketplace.
