With over 20 years in advertising and media agencies, Steve is now CEO of 1700 Group Plc. He has spent the past decade in particular guiding and offering counsel to executives across a wide range of industries. Steve’s business insight and personal development skills have been of great value to literally thousands of individuals and the companies they represent.

Steve now plays an active role in developing the Inspired Selection offering and providing Headhunt support to our Search services for Clients.

Gail is the Team Leader for the London office, and joined Inspired Selection in August 2003. Gail is responsible for working with a range of senior and mid level roles within the book and journal publishing sector in Central and Greater London. Gail holds the REC Certificate in Recruitment Practice along with a Bachelor’s degree with honours in English and History. She has worked for Quarto Books in Co-edition Sales, Marketing and Buying roles, and has an excellent knowledge of the publishing environment having recruited for a wide range of roles, across all sectors and levels of publishing. Gail has particularly strong knowledge of design, sales, marketing, publicity and rights, and has worked with large, well known publishing houses through to small independents.

Amanda is a Senior Recruitment Consultant within the London office, and joined Inspired Selection in September 2006. Amanda works with mid level appointments in publishing houses in Central and Greater London areas, and was previously with the Octopus Publishing Group working in various posts, most recently as a Special Sales Executive. Amanda has completed the REC Diploma in Recruitment Practice course.

Judy joined Inspired Selection in April 2004 and holds the REC Certificate in Recruitment Practice. She has a Bachelor’s degree with honours in Environmental Sciences, as well as a Master’s degree in Palaeoecology. Judy has an editorial background, having worked in academic journal publishing, both in-house and on a freelance basis at Elsevier Science, Blackwell Publishing and Taylor & Francis. As an experienced publishing recruitment consultant, Judy has worked successfully on vacancies from entry to mid-management level and has handled vacancies with a wide variety of clients across the UK.

Donald has been with Inspired Selection since May 2003. With over 21 years experience in publishing at senior levels within Sales and Marketing roles at HarperCollins, Kingfisher and Abbey Home Media, Donald has significant industry knowledge, excellent contacts and has successfully recruited for a wide range of senior appointments, across all sectors of publishing. Donald has completed the REC Certificate in Recruitment Practice.
