Inspired Selection has an extensive database of publishing professionals and graduates of the highest calibre, each of whom has undergone a thorough registration interview to assess their career requirements and goals.

On receipt of your vacancy details not only do we contact and discuss your vacancy with our own ‘short-list’ of registered appropriate candidates, we also ensure that your vacancy is given maximum exposure to the job hunting market. Each vacancy is advertised on our own fully interactive website and the Bookseller website (unless requested otherwise). It may also be advertised on other trade websites/publications, such as The Guardian and graduate websites, as deemed appropriate.

Our website has its own ‘Vacancy Update Service’, which automatically sends out email updates to subscribed candidates with details of vacancies in their fields of interest. Thousands of candidates are currently registered with this service both nationally and internationally. We advertise regularly in the trade press to promote our website and our site also has links from other relevant websites to ensure optimum relevant exposure.

With regard to recruitment for entry level opportunities we have close links with many colleges/universities, particularly those with specific publishing courses as well as other publishing organisations, where we regularly participate in ‘CV surgery’ sessions and presentations.

In addition we exhibit at the London Bookfair and attend other relevant trade fairs and conferences.

Candidates are emailed or phoned regularly to ensure our database is kept as current as possible.

Candidates’ details are never forwarded to our clients without their prior consent.
