If you are an articulate Editor with a successful track record in delivering illustrated educational materials in print and/or online this could be a great opportunity for you. Our client is a highly reputable and successful publishing house who specialise in educational publishing and they are looking for an Online Development Editor to join their friendly and expanding editorial team producing online tutor and learner support materials across a wide range of qualifications.

As Online Development Editor you will be responsible for producing first class online support materials, ensuring they adhere to schedule, budget and content quality standards. Key responsibilities would include; completing market research with customers to contribute to the development of qualification support products, identifying, briefing and commissioning subject matter experts for content, liaising with them throughout the process to ensure content supplied adheres to brief and schedule as well as completing hands on editing and uploading content using a content management system.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in working with illustrated educational materials, solid project management skills with some experience of commissioning content and ideally some experience of developing online content. You should have excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects at a time. You must have a great eye for detail with strong copyediting and proofreading skills and experience in using Photoshop.
