If you are an ambitious and enthusiastic sales person interested in academic publishing this could be a very exciting opportunity for you. Our client is a prestigious international publisher of books, journals and electronic media for academic, educational and professional markets and they are looking for a talented Library Sales Executive, this role will be based in Poland. As a Library Sales Executive you will be responsible for building strong customer relationships and sell their print and digital products, through the effective promotion to academics, government bodies, corporate houses and hospitals in Eastern Europe. Key responsibilities will include implementing a strategy for account management to both retain existing deals, and to identify prospects for new sign-up; hit sales targets; negotiate terms for both new and renewal contracts; responsible for writing a territory plan which identifies key library accounts; attend library conferences and meet clients this will involve making presentations as an when necessary; responsible for generating sale s reports and manage customer feedback. Additionally you will liaise with Library marketing managers on territory activities, and provide a quarterly marketing plan to aid coordination of marketing campaigns to increase awareness of deals signed in the territory and encourage usage. The successful candidate will have proven sales experience, excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills and a willingness to travel is vital for this role. You should enjoy working in a sales environment, and working to targets. You will be confident in using Microsoft office applications and familiarity with salesforce will be advantageous but not essential.
