This is a great opportunity to join a leading educational publisher as a Marketing Manager to work on their highly successful Primary series, based in central London, on a permanent basis, to start asap.

Reporting in to the Head of Marketing, as Marketing Manager you will be responsible for strategy and campaign delivery on a leading primary educational series, building the brand within schools and other markets with the opportunity to produce marketing plans for other primary lists too. Key responsibilities will include; liaising with the Head of Marketing to define strategic marketing plans, creating strong campaigns designed to increase sales, managing and building the brand ensuring consistency across all activities including liaising with sales, working closely with external PR agencies ensuring there is a high level of brand awareness within schools, liaising with digital colleagues to ensure digital is fully integrated into all campaigns, monitoring schedules, budgets and the performance of campaigns ensuring they meet designated targets.

The successful candidate will have solid marketing experience preferably within the education sector (although candidates with the relevant skills and experience from other areas may be considered) with a proven track record in brand management and direct marketing. You must have leadership ability with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and able to organise and prioritise your own workload. You should be creative and able to produce fluent and persuasive copy with the ability to create innovative campaigns which respond to market trends and needs as appropriate and achieve great results.
