Our client is a highly respected healthcare publisher and they are looking to appoint a Project Manager for a 12 month contract, working across authoritative and evidence based digital information products. Reporting in to the Publishing Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing on average three to four projects at a time, through their entire life cycle from assisting in the preparation of business cases and scoping out, right through to monitoring, communicating on progress through to launch. Key responsibilities will include; managing expectations of stakeholders to ensure agreement on project outcomes, defining requirements and objectives to be achieved, tailoring project management processes to each project as appropriate, problem solving and troubleshooting providing workable solutions and damage limitation as well as managing teams, allocating and managing the resources required for projects.

The successful candidate will have a solid track record in project management preferably within the digital/web arena and experience of scientific or medical publishing would be highly advantageous. You must have strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to liaise with others effectively and diplomatically, ensuring projects are completed to schedule, budget and achieve the desired publishing strategic aims. You will have great relationship building and organisational skills too.
