A leading, academic publisher, based in Oxfordshire, is looking to appoint a Multimedia Producer to join their team. The successful candidate will provide Production, Editorial, Marketing, and Technical Support with technical assistance, consultation, and project management services for electronic titles, content and other e-initiatives. This role will also be responsible for the production of electronic ancillaries to accompany book products as well as stand-alone products sold separate from books. You will also be responsible for project planning and management, budget control and appropriate technical support. The ideal candidate will be pro-active and creative, possess excellent organisational and problem solving skills; be able to frequently revise priorities to effectively manage numerous projects; have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong cross-platform interactive product development experience is desirable and experience with video production, Multimedia authoring, HTML, XML, CD/DVD-ROM and eLearning development would be an advantage. Candidates need to demonstrate solid experience of multimedia and online development. German and/or Spanish language skills would be an advantage.
