An international academic publisher, north of London, is looking to appoint a Key Accounts Manager who will bring innovation and verve to their internet retail and wholesale accounts team. You will strengthen and maintain relationships with key internet account and clients, institutions and business partners. You will successfully meet sales margins, improve profitability for both retail and wholesale clients and explore and capitalise on new avenues of opportunity. You will be developing marketing strategies, liaising with colleagues in other departments to ensure transparent communication and sharing of ideas and knowledge. This is a role for someone who has had strong academic sales success. This would need to be combined with a good knowledge of academic internet requirements and market and an understanding of selling electronic products. You would also need a good attitude to adapting to change and reacting to new developments in the internet and website market.
