If you have strong project management experience with solid editorial experience within educational publishing and demonstrable skills with HTML, Dreamweaver or Photoshop, this could be a fantastic opportunity for you. Our client is a world leading educational publishing house that offers excellent career progression opportunities and they are looking for a Media Producer to work on their Higher Education media products.

As Media Producer you would be responsible for project managing, researching and developing media projects across Higher Education and Professional lists. This could include tutorials, web based video, audio and assessment based content and mobile applications.

Key responsibilities will include: working with the editorial team to develop requirements and content for products to support textbooks, market research, identifying and commissioning authors for content, monitoring, problem solving schedules and budgets, liaising with external suppliers, copyediting and proofreading ensuring consistency of content with printed product.

The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills with hands-on web publishing experience ideally within higher educational/professional publishing although candidates with web publishing experience within other areas in educational or academic publishing for example may also be considered. You must strong project management skills with great communication and relationship building skills. You should be able to demonstrate a passion for educational and web publishing.
