If you are have great organisational skills with solid book publishing experience and a graphic design background then this could be a great opportunity for you. Our client is a world leading educational publishing house that offers excellent career progression opportunities and they are looking for a Design Project Co-ordinator to join their creative ELT design department.

As Design Project Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for project managing titles through the production process, ensuring that artwork meets desired requirements and high standards are maintained. Key responsibilities will include: briefing, commissioning and managing freelance designers and sourcing new design suppliers ensuring they adhere to technical guidelines and workflow, negotiating costs for freelance design work, scheduling and managing projects through the production process, selecting artwork styles and budgeting for illustration work, attending photo shoots as required and hands on design and artworking as and when required.

The successful candidate will have proven experience within book publishing and a solid graphic design background. You will have first class interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work as a member of a team as well as independently. You will be an effective juggler of multiple projects with the ability to multi task and a great visual eye.
