A global leader in educational publishing with offices in Oxford is looking for a Production Controller to manage the manufacturing of a dedicated front list titles for the UK schools market. Key duties and responsibilities of the role will include: managing print schedules and budgets; liaising with manufacturers in the UK, Europe and Asia; generating estimates and purchase orders from a computer based management system, whilst most importantly, ensuring that the wide range of four colour, monochrome and electronic resources under their remit are published on time and to a high standard. The ideal candidate will need proven experience of working in a busy publishing or print production environment and will have knowledge of print buying. They will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be highly organised with a flexible and consistent approach to their work.
