Our client is a leading educational publisher, providing first class assessment materials, teacher and learner resources for the UK school markets. They are now looking for an efficient, organised and proactive Purchasing and Stock Control Coordinator to join their busy team based in Wiltshire.

Reporting in to the Production Manager, as Purchasing and Stock Control Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring that products and services are efficiently procured, stock controlled and that quality and high level standards are maintained. Key responsibilities will include; analysing stock levels daily to ensure that stock is readily available and backorders and over stocks are kept to a minimum, monitoring sales movements identifying slow moving stocks, reporting monthly on sales of stocks, liaising regularly with external suppliers and relevant production and publishing departments to ensure seamless procurement is achieved.

The successful candidate will have some proven experience in publishing with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ideally with the ability to use various IT packages such as an online archive or digital management systems too. You will be highly organised with an adaptable and flexible approach and the ability to multi task effectively.
