Looking to develop further experience in digital publishing? Our client is looking for technically savvy individuals with some evidence of content development experience to take on two exciting new roles within their digital product development team. The roles would suit candidates with an aptitude for technology, first or second level experience in an editorial role, and, ideally, previous experience in an educational/higher educational publishing environment. The company is recruiting for two Digital Development Coordinators to support digital product development across their primary, secondary and vocational product portfolios. Working with Digital Development Managers and project teams, the Coordinators will work closely with colleagues in other departments and interface with external suppliers, with the aim of developing engaging and market appropriate electronic content. They will also contribute to testing and trialling products to ensure that the educational objectives of each product have been met. The position provides an opportunity to learn about digital development processes and workflows, while developing pedagogical understanding. The ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, essential for negotiating with vendors and facilitating efficient working within project teams; and will be highly organised and adept at schedule/budget control. The ability to pick up new technological concepts/software would be useful, as would knowledge of the UK education system.
