Our client is an innovative, forward thinking and diverse global organisation, highly reputable within professional publishing for standards publishing and they are looking for an Online Content Developer to join their busy team, based in London. The role offers great scope for progession and career development.

As Online Content Developer you will be responsible for commissioning and developing compelling content and project managing content through to delivery. Key responsibilities will include:

• conducting regular market research in consultation with the Publishing and Market Research Managers
• keeping abreast of developments within the industry
• identifying, approaching and signing the best possible authors/contributors
• monitoring the development of products and content
• project managing to ensure content is delivered on time and according to brief
• maintaining and nurturing relationships with authors/contributors and stakeholders
• negotiating contracts and publishing agreements where necessary
• liaising with editorial and marketing departments, ensuring they are updated on content development and ensuring there is a fully integrated approach

The successful candidate will have previous experience in content development within a publishing environment, ideally working across multiple formats including electronic with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You must have a can do and flexible approach with strong project management and organisational skills. You must be able to demonstrate a commercial outlook and have a proven ability to build successful and productive working relationships.
