We're excited to aid in the search for a Senior Marketing Executive to join the trade division of an award winning publishing house. This role will involve crafting and executing innovative marketing strategies for a diverse range of books and authors.

Must haves:

The preferred candidate should have a background in marketing and trade publishing. It's essential to understand the dynamics of the book market and to excel in crafting marketing strategies with confidence, particularly in navigating social media channels. Building captivating e-newsletters and designing engaging online and offline advertising campaigns are also key aspects of this role.

About you

The role will involve managing key campaigns and partnerships, so our client will be looking for someone with strong communication and stakeholder management skills, who can demonstrate their creativity and create marketing assets to promote the books. The ideal candidate should have an organizsed approach to arranging events and promotions, and be proactive in working across campaigns in a timely manner, adhering to strict deadlines.

The Role:

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this role involves creating and executing marketing campaigns, communicating them to internal and external stakeholders, managing creative assets, establishing partnerships, promoting titles and backlist, producing catalogues, organizing events, and managing online content and social media. The marketing team is looking for a blend of marketing expertise and design skills, including proficiency in programs such as InDesign, Photoshop, and Canva. Video editing skills would be advantageous. Strong written and oral communication skills are essential for effectively conveying marketing plans internally and during author or agent meetings. Additionally, experience in reporting on marketing plans is highly valued, making the ability to articulate strategies and results both internally and externally a crucial aspect of the role
