Sales Consultant - Scandinavia (Sweden or Denmark)
A market leading Educational publishing company is seeking a Higher Education Learning Consultant to join their sales department with the objective of promoting the company's renowned products and services across the Scandinavian territory. This role offers a competitive salary and bonus, and excellent benefits. The ideal candidate will be located in either Southern Sweden (Stockholm / Gothenburg) or in Southern Denmark (Copenhagen); this is a field based role with the main territory focus being on Denmark, southern Sweden and southern Norway.
The HE Learning Consultant will play a pivotal role in maximizing revenue across the territory, primarily through direct sales of new print and digital products and services to Higher Education institutions and academics. As well as through direct sales, you will achieve the annual sales goal through sales via all reseller and distributor channels. Responsibilities include:
·visit HE institutions within the territory to promote & increase sales of relevant products
·generate new business opportunities with an emphasis on digital and institutional sales
·arrange, prepare and give presentations to key faculty decision makers
The Learning Consultant for Scandinavia will ideally be a driven sales professional with a strong customer focus. Experience within Higher Education or academic publishing sales, selling digital and/or print products, would be ideal, or within a related industry. You will need to have a full driving license, and flexibility to travel throughout the territory as well as some travel outside the territory for conferences. Fluency in verbal and written English is essential and additional language skills may be required, such as Swedish, Danish or Norwegian.
