Our client, a leading publisher of international law and tax information based in Central London, is seeking Temporary Technical Editors who will be required to edit manuscripts, written by tax lawyers. The Temp will be required to do some drafting of tax developments and to manage content for their international tax services.
Reporting to the Senior Editor, the main duties of the role will involve producing high-quality written content, commissioning authors, editing, updating websites and liaising with other departments and subscribers. Taking personal responsibility for digital content, the responsibilities will include managing the publishing process from start to finish - research, commissioning, editing, proofreading, author management and liaising with industry experts.

With excellent technical writing and editing experience, the ideal candidate will have a law degree or equivalent, advanced communication and organisation skills, and proven commissioning abilities. A good knowledge of Law and Tax and experience in technical writing and editing is required. You will be news-savvy, have a keen eye for detail, enthusiasm, and the ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure. You will need to have a flexible attitude and will be able to work as part of a team and adapt to new assignments.
