Our client is a highly reputable professional institution and they are looking to recruit an Editor for their information products (online and print) based in Central Birmingham. With over 100,000 members worldwide, they are ideally placed to produce authoritative, and targeted, professional practice standards and information for professionals.

The main purpose of the role is to take responsibility for the project management, editing and maintenance of a portfolio of established products. The key responsibilities will include: editing new content for products across the portfolio, creating and maintaining web content, liaising with external suppliers and working with internal departments including marketing and product development to ensure the quality and timeliness of the outputs.

The successful candidate will have excellent editing and proofreading skills, with experience using CMS (content management systems) and editing lengthy information-rich publications. If you are a team player with good organisational skills and are comfortable juggling and prioritising multiple projects to tight deadlines then look no further - this could be the perfect job for you.
