Are you a statistician? Our client needs you! We have a fantastic opportunity for a Quantitative Researcher / Research Manager to join a renowned exam board and qualifications organisation based in Cambridge. The role is a 1 year fixed-term contract that offers a very attractive salary, and excellent benefits package.

Sat amidst a team of data analysts, researchers and experts in the field of educational assessment, the main remit of the Quantitative Researcher will be to lead on quantitative research projects. Responsibilities include:
·Manage and undertake analyses and communicate outcomes to stakeholders/research users
·Provide data and analyses to inform discussions at technical groups
·Give advice on experimental design and statistical methods to colleagues
·Design and manage analyses of data
·Represent working groups to interpret the data and analyses needs of colleagues and design analyses and outcomes to fit their needs
·Help to build a culture where decisions are evidence-based and colleagues understand and value research and data

The ideal Quantitative Researcher / Research Manager will be a collaborative and proactive statistician, with proven experience of sophisticated statistical analysis in a research environment, whether that be in an academic or commercial context, having employed a range of statistical techniques. Importantly, you will be adept at communicating complex ideas to a non-specialist audience. A familiarity of SAS, Python, R or SQL would be useful. You will be someone with strong communication and report writing skills, as well as confident working to tight deadlines on multiple projects.
