Do you have a passion for marketing products to the academic and business markets?

A leading academic publisher based in London is looking to appoint a Marketing Manager to a 12 month fixed term contract. Reporting to the Group Marketing Manager, you will be developing targeted marketing campaigns to drive forward the promotion of a book portfolio covering social sciences, business and management to the Higher Education market.


Key responsibilities of the Marketing Manager:


  • Developing and implementing marketing strategies through online and offline channels, working together with the Group Marketing Manager to develop product strategies across the disciplines
  • Attending sales conference and industry events, and presenting the portfolio to the Higher Education sales team
  • Analysing customer usage of the product to define their needs and create appropriate marketing strategies
  • Measuring marketing campaigns, liaising with external stakeholders to maximise results



This is an exciting position within a global team, and it could be the perfect next step for someone with proven record of marketing in a B2B or B2C setting. The ideal candidate will be confident and comfortable working independently, highly organised, with strong communication skills (including the ability to deliver presentations and writing copies). They will possess demonstrable familiarity with data, analytics and social media software, and will be able to use the full marketing mix in a creative way.
