A forward-thinking, EdTech / digital Education publishing company based in London is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Marketing Assistant to join their friendly and supportive team! This is a permanent role, initially remote - where you'll be given all the support you need - with a view to there being flexibility to work from their central London office when that's safe and possible.

The Marketing Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the Marketing function with both online and offline marketing activities and digital marketing campaigns. You will work closely with the Digital Marketing Executive and with the Content teams to help support the creation and successful implementation of their mixed-marketing activity. Tasks will include:

  • Putting together AC automations
  • Posting on social media
  • Writing copy for emails
  • Writing and designing fortnightly newsletters
  • Ensure data is clean and clean up if needed
  • Improve social media targets and strategies
  • Use email communications to ensure usage (newsletters, trending lessons, etc.)
  • Respond to and deal with reviews on Trustpilot
  • Promote Facebook groups for users
  • Website maintenance as and when required
  • Creating marketing visuals (training provided)
  • Assist with the organisation of online events and follow up
  • Assist with the production of monthly board reports

The ideal Marketing Assistant will be able to demonstrate a good amount of office administration and / or Marketing experience, combined with strong digital marketing skills. The Marketing Assistant will have a confident telephone manner, good organisation and planning skills and a proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and knowledge of any relevant digital marketing tools would be beneficial. This role requires excellent communication and attention to detail, as well as a genuine interest in Education. This would be an ideal first Marketing job for a motivated individual with a collaborative approach, and strong analytical and organisational skills.
