We are looking for a Head of Library & Information Services for one of our clients. Our client, an academic society based in Central London, currently occupies a stunning piece of real estate which houses their impressive library.

The library is used by the society academic members and fellows. They are now looking to hire someone who can future proof the library and information services function of this highly regarded society. There is so much to do on a strategic level in this role and it really is a fantastic role for someone who is proactive and excited about the changing landscape of libraries along with experience in the following areas:

  • Library management
  • People Management
  • Digital Archiving (working with digital archiving partners)
  • Cataloguing (this role can also be hands on)
  • Change management
  • Strategic
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong influencing skills
  • Strong communication skills
