A very exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Marketing Manager to join an innovative and forward-thinking EdTech company, focused on Maths and Writing, with an inspiring mission. As Senior Marketing Manager you will play a pivotal role in helping the company to achieve strategic growth and expand their reach across Primary and Secondary schools throughout England.

Working closely with, and reporting to, the Sales & Marketing director, as Senior Marketing Manager for England, your main remit will be to devise and implement integrated marketing campaigns that generate leads across the Primary and Secondary school sector in England, through using a range of marketing tactics, including (but not limited to) direct marketing, social media and PR as part of an ongoing blend of activity to build awareness and to acquire new schools. Key responsibilities will include:

  • lead on marketing planning and campaign delivery in collaboration with sales, training and support teams
  • acquire new users and generate leads for the sales team
  • managing the England marketing team
  • to keep fully up to date with changes in education and EdTech policy and practice in England and to ensure marketing and messaging adapts accordingly
  • roll up your sleeves to help implement marketing plans
  • ensure all marketing activities are measured and assessed

With prior experience of marketing to Primary and Secondary schools in England, the Senior Marketing Manager will be a highly creative, analytical and talented marketeer ideally with a background in successfully managing marketing campaigns to acquire new users for an online educational product. It is important that the Senior Marketing Manager has experience and understanding of digital marketing and the use of data to measure marketing campaign effectiveness, as well as excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach. People management skills would be an advantage, as would experience of subscriptions and renewals marketing, but these are not essential. You will be passionate about Education and have the ability to communicate effectively with teachers and school leaders in England.
