This is a US based role, to be based from Illinois, Georgia or Wisconsin.

As Sales Manager, you will drive sales to win new business with higher education institutions across the globe, cultivating relationships with academia, understanding their needs, and helping them solve problems with the company's cloud-based digital learning resource offering. As Higher Education Sales Manager you will develop and execute a territory sales plan that engages higher education decision makers and achieves monthly revenue targets. You will achieve new business sales growth and work the full 360 sales cycle from cold calling to close, including prospecting/ generating leads across the Higher Education sector with academic decision makers. You will be consultative in your approach, asking the right questions to understand customer needs and deliver effective sales presentations and product demonstrations over the phone.

The ideal Sales Manager will have experience of successfully generating new business in the education sector, preferably selling Saas-based solutions to academia. With a proven track record of sales success as well as planning, forecasting and managing a sales pipeline, you will have excellent organisation and communication skills, and be adept at working remotely and managing customer relationships across a specific territory. A proficiency with web-based presentation tools and customer relationship management systems (HubSpot preferred) will be highly valuable.
