We have an exciting B2C Marketing opportunity in Beijing! A leading international publisher of high-quality academic books and journals is looking for a creative and target-driven Marketing Manager to join their team to focus on creating and implementing marketing strategies to maximise revenue growth opportunities in the China market aimed at researchers and prospective authors. This role is based in Beijing, and offers remote working options within the Beijing territory.

In this role you will be:

  • Designing and executing marketing campaigns to drive high quality journal articles and book manuscript submissions
  • Creating engagement plans for the research community via offline and online channels, including conferences, workshops, website, email and WeChat campaigns
  • Managing marketing strategies and analytics, monitoring campaigns performance to inform Sales, Marketing and Product Development activities
  • Building and nurturing relationships with researchers, societies, funders and other key players in the research community

We are looking for someone who will be confident implementing engagement strategies in new markets, and who will be goal-orientated and able to manage a varied product portfolio. They will be able to identify researchers' needs and analyse the market and the competitors' activity, and designing targeted marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will preferably come from a research environment or a B2C Marketing, and be fluent in both English and Mandarin.
