Our client is an international professional membership body operating within the field of engineering, they are now seeking an Insights Manager to join their team on a 12 month FTC, this will be a hybrid role working both from home and from their offices in Central London.

The Insights Manager is a crucial role in developing relevant research, insight and knowledge for the organisation, and will be responsible for managing, developing and disseminating high quality insight into key issues within engineering, in particular around infrastructure, the built environment and sustainability. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Project managing complex research and insight projects, including the management, commissioning, producing and editing of technically accurate, engaging insight to be delivered in print and digital formats
  • Managing a network of supplier and freelance networks to provide written, graphic and multimedia content to support insight reports
  • Work closely with key stakeholders across the organisation to engage the wider organisation in insight launches and activities
  • Act as a brand ambassador demonstrating a keen interest and understanding in broad civil engineering issues.

The successful candidate will have a proven interest or experience in emerging engineering issues, in particular with regards to sustainability. As a heavily content driven role, our client expects strong writing and editing skills, superb communication skills and proven experience in developing content for a specialist audience. Experience in project management, budget management and reporting would be an advantage alongside knowledge and experience of working in or alongside the engineering, construction or infrastructure fields.
