Our client is a leading publishing services organisation based in Central London, they work within intellectual property and rights management for publishers and they are looking for a Data Assistant to join their team. This will be a hybrid position, based in the London office two days per week paying a salary of £28,000.

The Data Assistant will be responsible for ensuring data delivered into the Operations function is processed and loaded accurately and in line with scheduled deadlines as well as ensuring proactive maintenance and reporting. Key tasks include:

  • Receive and process data into a data exchange system
  • Day to day problem solving, reporting and team working to deliver on operational objectives
  • Continually work to improve the quality of metadata
  • Suggest opportunities for improvements and streamlining of processes
  • Assist the data processing team leader with ad hoc queries and data exercises

To be considered for this position, we are looking for someone who is very organised, technically competent and the ability to prepare, manipulate and load data. You must be an advanced Microsoft Excel user and have experience of working with databases. You will be comfortable working on your own initiative and self-motivated to work to deadlines with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
