We are thrilled to announce an incredible opportunity for a Senior Editor to join our renowned client, a leading independent trade publisher, for a 12-month contract starting in February 2025. Our client proudly represents award-winning authors and specialises in non-fiction picture and gift books for children aged 7 and up.

This hybrid working role is perfect for an experienced editor ready to dive into a dynamic, creative environment. If you have a background in non-fiction and have worked with children's publishers, this is the ideal position for you!

Key Responsibilities:

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have prior experience in a non-fiction editorial role
• Possess exceptional copy-editing and proofreading skills
• Understand both colour and mono production processes
• Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail in text, design, and illustration
