Product Manager (Research Services)
Join an award winning academic publisher in the exciting role of Product Manager that will see you working on a range of incredible editorial, review and authoring tools!
You will be responsible for owning and delivering a product roadmap for a portfolio of research tools and services that are all centred around the customer journey and needs, and that are helping to shape the future of academic publishing.
Role details and benefits:
- Salary: ca £45,000 DOE
- Location: This is a remote first role, however the team gathers in Leeds once a month and ideally, candidates should be comfortable with occasional travel for these meetings.

Key responsibilities:
- Think of and lead on the development of new features and enhancements that aim to improve author experience
- Liaise with external vendors and platform partners to define the product deliverables and manage the roadmap
- Research the market and look at user insights to develop content roadmap for best user experience
- Champion the products and services across the wider business, participating in demos and training initiatives
- Collaborate with Product Delivery and Architect teams on the development and testing of new services
- Oversee the workflow to add or editing content based on customer feedback
About you:
This is a perfect role for someone who is familiar with the scholarly publishing environment and with a successful record of working on a full product cycle. You will demonstrate the ability to work with third party vendors and communicate action points clearly, and be ready to step into a Product Manager role that will oversee the end-to-end delivery of complex digital products for the academic research world.
