Calling all Australian book sales enthusiasts! There is a new exciting field sales role with a leading publisher of academic books and digital resources for universities and libraries. Looking after institutional clients across the ANZ territory, the Field Sales Executive is responsible for visiting universities and engaging with faculty to secure textbook adoption, and growing revenue for key academic product groups. As there is regular  travelling involved to meet faculty and clients, mainly in the Sydney region, is preferable that candidates are based in the area and comfortable with regular travel.
 
Salary and benefits:
 
·Annual salary: AUD 80,000 - 85,000

Overview of the role:
 
The Field Sales Executive will aim to achieve or exceed yearly revenue targets and establish strong relationships with key institutions through regular communication and campus calling.
 
This includes:
 
·Secure new textbook and digital content adoptions while supporting existing business and gathering data and reporting on course trends
·Provide market intelligence to sales, editorial, and marketing teams, and attend relevant conferences and meetings
·Complete annual business plans with clear objectives for key accounts and collaborate with marketing on lead management
·Work closely with the Marketing department to feedback on possible leads and market insights
·Keep track of all activities on the company CRM
 
The ideal candidate:
 
The role of FIeld Sales Executive requires adaptable sales and negotiation skills to be able to liaise effectively with different customer and market types. Some knowledge of sales enablement tools like BinTinCan and MsCRM is an advantage, though detailed training will be provided. You should demonstrate the ability to manage your own campus calling cycle, including maintaining accurate pipeline and CRM records, managing your time efficiently, and following up on visits  to nurture and grow assigned accounts.
