Our client is a distinguished professional membership organisation and an award-winning conference centre, events hub, and wedding venue nestled in the heart of central London, and they are on the lookout for an Event Executive.
 
Details of the role:
 
·Salary: £33,600
·Permanent, full-time role
·Location: London, with 2-3 days a week in the office
·Holiday allowance: 25 days  + Bank Holidays and Christmas shutdown
·£100 Annual allowance towards your well-being, employee support line

This role will see you:
 
·Supporting the smooth running of events, including conferences, lectures, weddings, seminars, corporate functions, and other memorable occasions with hundreds of attendees.
·Managing your very own portfolio of events, such as webinars, lectures, and seminars
·Giving top-notch advice to clients, guiding them through arrangements, and ensuring every detail is flawless
·Leading weddings with finesse from enquiry to completion, in collaboration with our Wedding Planner
·Attending tastings, promotional events, and supporting business development efforts to attract future clients
·Mentoring junior team members and passing on your expertise
 
You'll be the backbone of the events team, ensuring top-notch delegate experiences across a variety of occasions, including conferences, seminars, lectures, corporate functions, and other gatherings with hundreds of attendees. You'll also take ownership of your own curated portfolio of events-think seminars, lectures, and webinars-adding your unique touch.
 
Our client is looking for a confident, enthusiastic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, handles pressure gracefully, and delights in exceeding client expectations. Ideally, you'll have experience working in busy venues-preferably in Central London-and a good knowledge of conference layouts, banqueting setups, and catering logistics.
