Sales Manager, Europe
We are partnering with a global leader in AI powered information technology solutions for libraries and information centres. As the organisation enters an exciting phase of growth and expands its presence across Europe, we are seeking a driven and strategic Sales Account Manager to help build and develop the EU & UK territory.
This role can be based remotely in the Netherlands or Germany, with strong candidates in the UK also considered. Reporting to the VP of Sales & Business Development, the Sales Account Manager will play a key role in driving new business, managing the full sales cycle, and nurturing longterm customer relationships across medical, corporate and academic library sectors.
Key Responsibilities
·Generate new business across Europe, leveraging both existing networks and new prospecting activity
·Manage the full sales cycle from outreach and demos through to implementation and postsales support
·Build and maintain strong, consultative relationships with customers, ensuring a positive and responsive experience
·Provide proactive pre and postsales support, including troubleshooting and coordinating with customer support teams
·Deliver effective product training to customers
·Report regularly on account activity, pipeline development and sales performance
·Represent the company at conferences, client meetings and industry events
About You
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to take ownership of a growing territory and make a meaningful impact. You will bring:
·Significant experience selling SaaS or software solutions to libraries or information centres (e.g., discovery tools, library management systems, document delivery platforms, remote access solutions)
·Experience selling into medical or corporate library environments
·Strong technical aptitude, with handson experience delivering demos, setting up trials and supporting implementations
·Excellent communication, negotiation and consultativeselling skills
·Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
·Fluency in English; additional European languages are an advantage but not essential
