Learning Partnerships and Licensing Specialist
We are delighted to be working with a globally recognised professional membership body to recruit a Learning Partnerships and Licensing Specialist. This role plays a crucial part in the growth of the organisation’s professional learning portfolio through high-quality learning partnerships and licensing arrangements. This is a hybrid role based in Central London, with three days in the office and two days working from home with a salary of up to £45,000 plus an excellent benefits package.
Working closely with a range of external partners, including educational institutions, professional bodies and commercial learning providers, you will help shape and strengthen the learning offer available to members. The focus of the role is not on curriculum development or delivery, but on assessing learning content, methodologies and outcomes, and ensuring that partner provision aligns with member needs, professional standards and commercial objectives.
You will be confident representing the organisation in discussions with senior stakeholders and will bring the commercial judgement needed to evaluate which partnerships offer the strongest strategic and financial fit. Collaboration with product, research, marketing and go to market teams is central to the role.
Key responsibilities include:
·Developing and managing learning partnerships and licensing agreements with external providers
·Assessing third-party learning content, curricula and methodologies against defined objectives and learner outcomes
·Identifying and evaluating new partnership opportunities, balancing member need, quality and commercial value
·Building trusted, professional relationships with partners and licensors
·Monitoring partner performance and supporting continuous improvement
·Using insight, data and market knowledge to inform partnership and licensing decisions
·Working closely with internal teams to support product development and launch planning
About you:
You will have experience in partnerships, licensing or business development within professional learning, education, membership organisations, EdTech or a related environment. You do not need hands-on instructional design or curriculum development experience, but you will be comfortable reviewing learning content, understanding its purpose and outcomes, and making informed judgements about quality and fit.
You will bring strong commercial acumen, confidence in partner-facing conversations, and the ability to balance strategic thinking with attention to detail. You will be organised, credible, and collaborative, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the future of professional learning within a globally respected organisation, working with high-profile partners in the UK and internationally.
