Product Owner
Are you a highly motivated and experienced Product Owner looking for a challenging new role within a critical organisation in the UK publishing space? Our client is seeking a Product Owner (Operations) to join its supportive and close-knit Operations team, working hybrid, 2 days per week, from the company's central London office. The role offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
Reporting to the Head of Operations, this permanent, full-time position involves overseeing business-critical data processing, distribution and reporting systems. You will act as a vital link between Operations, Project Management, and Development teams, driving system development, managing product backlogs, and ensuring seamless testing and training.
The ideal candidate will possess proven Product Manager / Owner experience, including managing development backlogs, writing user stories, and defining acceptance criteria. Experience with Agile project management and delivering continuous improvement strategies is essential. You will be a self-motivated, collaborative, and solution-oriented individual with excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex business requirements and fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including third-party suppliers. While technical coding skills are not required, a strong aptitude for understanding and working with systems is key.
In this role, you will champion operational efficiency, identify opportunities for improvement, and contribute to the company's strategic objectives. You will own the product vision and roadmap, ensure accurate system documentation, and manage system configurations. This is an exciting opportunity to join an organisation with a strong culture of dedication and a clear mission.
If you are ready to make a significant impact on core systems and drive continuous improvement within a purpose-driven organisation, we encourage you to apply.
