Business Development Consultant, EdTech
Initial 6month FTC (with potential to go permanent)
Remote (UK-based)
Salary: £50,000-£60,000 annual salary, depending on experience + expenses

We're working with an established educational publisher and EdTech business preparing to launch a new, highly differentiated LMS into the UK schools market. This is an initial 6 month fixed-term contract, created to research the market, build early momentum and explore strategic publisher partnerships, with the potential for the role to develop into a permanent position. Part-time or full-time working can be considered. It is a fully remote, UK-based role.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this roll will initially be focused on researching and scoping the UK landscape, understanding how schools and publishers currently use LMS platforms, where content is hosted, and where there's appetite for a more integrated, partnerships approach. A key part of the role will be exploring publisher partnerships, testing market appetite, and helping shape a UK go-to-market strategy.

You'll suit this role if you have experience in UK schools, educational publishing or EdTech, enjoy working at the early stages of market entry, and take a consultative, commercially curious approach. You might be from a sales, business development, product research or related discipline. Over time, there's scope to move into a more traditional Business Development / Partnerships role as the opportunity develops.

This offers an exciting chance to help shape growth from the ground up, with autonomy, senior visibility and real long-term potential.
