Temporary Journals Development Editor

We have an exciting opportunity for a Temporary Development Editor (STM Journals) with an international medical and science publishing group, starting ASAP, working fully remotely (based in the UK).
 
We're looking for a detail-oriented Temporary Editor to join the team on a short-term temporary basis (monthly rolling, potentially until October) to support a global editorial team with day to day editorial office administrative tasks.
 
This role is ideal for someone looking to build on some experience as a Journals Assistant or Editorial Coordinator, and looking for a fully remote role.
 
You'll play a key part in clearing a backlog of editorial tasks and ensuring smooth operations across a portfolio of STM journals.
 
Your responsibilities will include:
- Sending editorial invitations and correspondence
- Updating and maintaining records in ScholarOne
- Performing data entry and general editorial admin
- Supporting the team with day-to-day publishing tasks
 
What we're looking for:
- Some experience in STM journal publishing or editorial coordination
- Working knowledge of ScholarOne is essential
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- A proactive, can-do attitude
