Senior Publications Officer

Our client is a leading independent consultancy firm who curate research-led reports for their clients driven by employment data. They hold a huge volume of information and data and are looking to hire a Senior Publications Officer to publicise the firm's work, and expand their reach through new publications and innovative research projects.

Research is at the heart of this business, and this role will be crucial in expanding the firms reach, looking for networks and opportunities for publishing projects, requesting funding and coming up with ideas and initiatives for publications in the employment data sector. Ideally with some experience in research and analysis publishing, the Senior Publications Officer may have had exposure to legal and industry journals, newspapers, b2b magazines, conferences and online platforms where this organisation could partner, and confidence in approaching these types of organisations, as well as requesting funding for publications.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in creating publications across print and digital formats, with a strong understanding of the workflow around publication creation ideally within a research led environment. We are looking for an innovative, creative individual who can come in with ideas, and an ability to execute ideas from the senior leadership team, driving engagement for the firm. Excellent communication skills, a superb eye for detail and the ability to work on your own initiative is essential as well as an interest in working for a research led organisation.
