Our client a pioneering force in the digital publishing industry, are looking to appoint a Senior Client Relationship Manager to join their sales team. The role will require to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, expanding business within public libraries, universities, and schools across New South Wales.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and grow existing client base, ensuring the achievement of sales targets nationwide.
  • Foster lasting, positive relationships with clients, offering exceptional sales support and ongoing account management.
  • Promote digital solution services, as well as an extensive catalogue of audio and large print content.
  • Identify new business opportunities and drive sales to increase revenue.
  • Provide leadership within the sales team, coaching and guiding colleagues toward success.
  • Gain an in-depth understanding of client needs and contribute valuable insights to enhance company presentations, marketing, and sales tools.

The ideal candidate should have proven commercial sales experience, particularly in client-facing roles, preferably in publishing, library, or audio markets. They should have a history of consistently exceeding sales targets by employing strong closing and consultative selling skills. Additionally, they should possess exceptional analytical abilities, a strong sense of commercial awareness, and effective problem-solving skills. Leadership qualities and a commitment to team development are also crucial, along with excellent interpersonal, presentation, and public speaking skills.
