As an Acquisitions Editor, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a diverse and commercially successful range of audio content that seamlessly aligns with our client's publishing strategy. The role will include a number of engaging responsibilities, including:

• Curating and Acquiring: You will be the driving force behind securing audio rights from literary agents, authors, and publishers, ensuring alignment with our client's strategic publishing objectives.
• Building Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong business connections with authors, agents, and publishers.
• Forecasting Opportunities: Utilise provided training to develop insightful sales and margin forecasts, aiding in the evaluation of potential opportunities and decision-making.
• Negotiating Strategically: Take charge of negotiating contract terms that are mutually beneficial and ensure satisfaction for all parties involved.
• Managing Detailed Publishing: Collaborate closely with the supply chain and the broader team to create meticulous publishing schedules, ensuring a smooth production process.
• Crafting Compelling Copy: Adapt book blurbs and support publicity efforts to ensure each acquired title receives the attention it deserves.
• Guiding the Creative Process: Oversee the casting of narrators and cover artwork, ensuring alignment with both company and author visions.
