We have an exciting Sales Manager opportunity within the audio industry! Are you based in the south of England and happy to be out and about developing new business, as well as looking after existing accounts? Our client, a well-known Audio publisher, is looking for a Sales Manager to become an integral part of their dynamic sales team.

We are seeking an individual who is passionate about fostering client relationships and achieving sales targets within the public library, university, and school sectors. While the role offers the flexibility of remote work, it requires extensive travel to facilitate in-person meetings and cultivate strong connections. Your enthusiasm for sales and literature will be instrumental in fostering collaborative success within the UK sales team.

As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Establishing and maintaining long-term client relationships, providing exceptional sales support, and overseeing institutional accounts within your territory.
  • You will play a pivotal role in promoting our diverse range of digital solutions, digital content, and physical audio titles.
  • Identifying new business opportunities and driving revenue growth.
  • The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in client-facing sales, preferably in publishing, libraries, or audio markets. A proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets through effective closing strategies and consultative selling techniques is essential. Strong analytical skills, commercial acumen, and problem-solving capabilities are key, along with effective leadership skills and a collaborative mindset.

Your confidence, exceptional communication skills, and ability to build enduring relationships will be crucial, supported by excellent presentation, public speaking, and customer management skills, all underpinned by meticulous attention to detail.

Comfort and enthusiasm for technology and digital advancements, coupled with intermediate to advanced Excel skills, a valid driver's license, and access to a car for full-time use, are essential for this role.

For a full description of the role, please send your CV with a brief paragraph outlining your relevant skills.

Closing Date: Early applications may be prioritised.
