Hiring with Confidence: How to Assess Real Expertise in the Age of AI

Hiring with Confidence: How to Assess Real Expertise in the Age of AI

As AI continues to reshape selection and interview processes and how candidates present themselves, hiring with confidence is becoming more challenging than ever.

In this episode of Inspired Live, Verity Hawson, Associate Director at Inspired will be joined alongside Katie Thorn, VP International Sales & Marketing at Macmillan Learning, and Chantel Hayward FCIPD, Founder & Director at Fox & Fable (current Interim Head of HR at Quarto), where they’ll explore how to design more human-centred hiring processes, ones that look beyond polished applications to uncover genuine capability, potential and fit.

Together they’ll share practical ways to test real expertise, from live tasks and case studies to presentations, all while maintaining a positive and inclusive candidate experience.

This session will also touch upon:

• The growing impact of AI on applications and candidate evaluation
• How to test real expertise through live, in-process assessments
• Designing fair, inclusive and role-relevant tasks
• Balancing rigour with a great candidate experience

This is the perfect event for Hiring managers, HR professionals, and talent leaders who want to make confident, well-informed hiring decisions in an AI-driven world. Join us live at 12pm on Thursday 2nd July, live on our LinkedIn page.
