Inspired Live Presents: Salary Transparency in Publishing
What employers need to know as pay disclosure moves up the agenda
Salary transparency is becoming an increasingly important conversation for employers, recruiters and candidates. With government plans proposing that employers publish salary information in job adverts as part of wider anti-discrimination reforms, publishing businesses may soon need to think more carefully about how they approach pay disclosure.
Taking place on Friday 25 September at 12:00pm, this Inspired Live panel will bring together Verity Hawson, Managing Director of Inspired Selection, Jo Tidball, Founder of We Show the Salary, Andy Macdonald FCIPD, Chief People Officer at IOP Publishing, and Patrick Milnes, Head of Policy at the British Chambers of Commerce.
Attend the event here.
Together, they’ll explore what changing expectations around salary transparency could mean for publishing employers, from candidate trust and application quality to internal equity, retention, employer brand and the practical steps businesses may need to take before becoming more open about pay.
This session is designed for publishing leaders, HR and People teams, hiring managers, department heads and anyone involved in attracting, engaging or retaining talent. It will be a timely, practical and honest conversation about what is changing, why it matters and how employers can prepare.
