#InspiredToGive The Inspired Easter Egg Drive
This Easter, the Inspired Team were delighted to be able to spread some kindness through our own communities by running our own Easter egg drive for food banks across the country. With families facing challenging times, even the smallest gesture can bring joy especially in the form of an Easter treat!

It was great to be able to stop and chat with our local food bank providers and volunteers across Norfolk, Kent, Cheshire, London, Sussex and Hertfordshire as well as out in Spain, and drop off some Easter eggs as well as some other much-needed essentials. The response has been incredible with food banks telling us just how much these donations mean, with many struggling to meet the rising demand of the cost of living and relying on food banks for some extra support, an easter treat to enjoy could not be more welcome. One food bank shared that no one had yet donated Easter eggs this year, making this drive even more important.

Food banks aren’t just for Easter of course and we’d love to encourage others to help where they can —whether by donating much needed essentials and surprise treats, volunteering, or sharing your own experience with local food banks. Your kindness makes all the difference.

We were also inspired by the work of other charities and volunteers over the Easter period and wanted to shine a light on some of the work of others and to show how much there is to get involved with over the Easter period! There are some wonderful organisations and charities doing some egg-celent things to bring Easter joy into the lives of others that you can get involved with and support including Francis House Children's Hospice, who run an Easter Chick Knit Appeal, SMILE London & Essex who help to provide Easter eggs to children in poverty, temporary accommodation, and crisis situations, Noah's Ark Children's Hospital Charity who ensure donations of Easter treats go to children in the hospital during the Easter period as well as many hospices like the Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity who run Easter egg tombola’s so you can enjoy your easter treats as well as raise money for worthy causes! Additionally, some organizations like The Meaningful Chocolate Company allow people and businesses to sponsor pallets of eggs for distribution to food banks and other charitable organisations.
Every egg counts. Every act of goodwill matters. Let’s make Easter a little brighter together! Here are some of our donations we’d love to share with you and also shine a light on the incredible work these food banks are doing!
